05 Dic Maykel Jiménez Guerra, one of the PhD students involved in the SENSATE project, has completed a secondment at CHOSE (Università di Roma Tor Vergata)
In October and November, Maykel Jiménez carried out a secondment at the CHOSE laboratory (CENTRE FOR HYBRID AND ORGANIC SOLAR ENERGY), an expert centre in Perovskites and in the development of selective contacts for these materials. CHOSE is located in Rome, Italy, within the Università di Roma Tor Vergata.
The objectives of this internship have been both to test the Q-1D materials synthesised at UPC as selective contacts for the perovskites developed by CHOSE and to test the selective contacts developed by CHOSE on all the absorbers developed at UPC. All these new deposition techniques learned by the student will try to be implemented in the processes developed at UPC.
These two months have been funded one of them by the European VIPERLAB project (FULLY CONNECTED VIRTUAL AND PHYSICAL PEROVSKITE PHOTOVOLTAICS LAB), and another month by Maykel’s involvement in the SENSATE project.
