Dr. Edgardo Saucedo has taken part in the VI Congreso Internacional de Química e Ingeniería Verde – Online System.

Last 9th September 2021, Dr. Edgardo Saucedo has taken part in the VI Congreso Internacional de Química e Ingeniería Verde (VI International Conference of Green Chemistry and Engineering), organized by the Facultad de Ciencias Químicas of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Mexico.

The aim of this Conference is to share the latest progresses made in research and to offer a place for discussion and dissemination of the knowledge applied to the green chemistry and engineering and their applications. The Conference is open to business people, specialists, scholars, researchers, students and other people interested in sustainability.

Dr. Edgardo Saucedo’s speech was focused in advanced photovoltaic technologies based in sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. He first described the last progresses on kesterite, including new records achieved this year, and proposing strategies for the future improvement of solar cells. Then he presented the new emerging materials that starts to be investigated, with special focus in new anisotropic chalcogenides related to SENSATE.
